Movement

There are a number of ways to get involved in the AITC* movement…

Lectures

We have a team of talented artists with amazing stories of using art as their cure. You can book one of our artists to speak in your school, college, university, charity event or fundraiser to inspire an audience as big or small as you need. Talks cover everything from using art to overcome difficulties in life, turning a passion into a career, how street art rose to become the art worlds most exciting movement, how art therapy can change lives and hear from our founder Rich Simmons and his inspirational story of how he turned a cure into a global movement.

Workshops

Our artists can run a number of different style workshops. We can produce live demonstrations of how the leading street artists use different techniques to create the work. We can also run art classes in schools, teaching students about the biggest art movement around today and how they can use the same techniques in their work. This will inspire students to create new work, learn about new artists and develop their skills and imaginations in new ways.

Fundraisers

AITC* gets people all over the world wanting to support the movement by organizing events. We can provide you with information on how to run different kinds of events, support you every step of the way, promote it on our website and get involved in any way we can to make it a success. The money raised from events will go into the growth of the movement and finding new ways to support the art community and promote art therapy. Individuals or groups taking part will learn new skills in how to run and manage events, work with other people, develop personal skills and help us to grow this movement and inspire other people in the process.

You will get the latest news and updates on all things AITC*, access to different promotional material to spread around your school or community and the more you do, the more rewards you get. It is an opportunity to get involved in a movement and inspire people and change lives. Spreading the word about art therapy is changing lives every day and by promoting AITC*, you can change someone’s life too.

Merchandise

The simplest way to show your support for the AITC* movement is to get yourself a t-shirt and wear it out with pride. Tell your friends what Art Is The Cure actually means and represents and get them checking out the website through word of mouth. The money from merchandise sales goes directly back into the movement to promote art therapy and find new ways to inspire people.

Street Art

AITC* is heavily inspired and influenced by street art and it is our favorite way to promote the movement. We have some of the best artists in the world showing their support for AITC* by painting murals for us or using our asterisk logo to add to their work. The asterisk stencil is appearing all over the world and makes people ask what its about, that’s when they find out it means Art Is The Cure and is the symbol for inspiration. We want to get people using this logo and adding it to their work, painting it on tshirts and bags and instruments or on the streets. We don’t endorse illegal graffiti so please find a legal zone to paint in.

Click here to contact us about asterisk stencils and how to cut them and we will send you templates and instructions. Also contact us with photos of your asterisks painted up.

Commercial

AITC* represents and works with some of the best new and established street artists in the world who all share our passion for this movement. We have some of the best in every style of street art going, from stencils, illustration, 3D graffiti, fine art, photography and traditional graffiti. If you have an event, exhibition or a commercial opportunity that requires street art and at the same time want to support a movement that inspires people all over the world, then get in touch. We have already been involved in merchandise / licensing deals around the world, major gallery exhibitions and been featured on TV and other press all over the world.
